Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Wisconsin on Tuesday for a campaign event, marking yet another stop in a swing state as President Biden’s troubles put her in the spotlight.
Ms. Harris’ stop will be in Milwaukee, which just hosted former President Donald Trump and the Republican National Convention.
The White House didn’t provide more details. It will be Ms. Harris’ fifth visit to the state this year.
Wisconsin will award 10 electoral votes in November, making it a critical prize in the upper Midwest alongside Michigan and Minnesota.
The vice president is crisscrossing the country to promote abortion rights and other parts of the Biden-Harris agenda while sharks circle Mr. Biden’s candidacy. Concerns about his ability at age 81 are reaching a fever pitch and could topple his position at the top of the Democratic ticket.

She visited Michigan and North Carolina in recent days — states crucial in the presidential race.
Wisconsin played a central role in the past two presidential elections. Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton didn’t spend much time in the state and lost it in 2016 to Mr. Trump by around 23,000 votes.
Mr. Biden snatched it back for Democrats in 2020, winning it by roughly 20,000 votes.
