Former President Donald Trump’s 17-year-old granddaughter, Kai Trump, will be taking the stage at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday.
Ms. Trump, the daughter of the GOP nominee’s first-born son, Donald Trump Jr. and eldest of the Trump grandchildren, will speak at the convention at 10 p.m. Eastern time, and potentially be the convention’s youngest speaker. Her father is also set to speak in the same time frame, along with Usha Vance, wife of vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance.
In a post on her Instagram story Wednesday, Kai Trump wrote that she is “honored to be speaking at the RNC.”
The post included a reposted photo from her father’s account announcing the Trump-Vance presidential ticket.
Kai Trump’s comments could be seen as a look into what the younger Trumps think of their grandfather. It could also be used as a way to appeal to the younger generation of voters, even though she herself isn’t of voting age yet.
