MILWAUKEE — U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed the classified documents’ case against Donald Trump, calling special counsel Jack Smith’s appointment unconstitutional and handing the Republican Party a big cause to celebrate as it opens its convention in Wisconsin.

For Trump, who just dodged bullets of death aimed at his head by a would-be assassin, the resurrections just keep on coming.

“The clerk is directed to CLOSE this case,” Cannon wrote in her decision.

Loser Smith can appeal. And he probably will. But he’ll probably lose that as well. After all, the Democrats only launched this case as a means of keeping Trump out of the White House. By the time loser Smith’s case makes it through the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, Trump will be well on his way to a presidential win.

“A spokesman for Smith, who was appointed special counsel by Attorney General Merrick Garland in November 2022 to oversee federal criminal probes of Trump, did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the ruling,” CNBC wrote.

Of course not.

The loser Smith camp is busily licking wounds — or downing drinks to dull the pain. This was the case, after all, that saw widespread media coverage of box after box after box being removed by scores of officials from Mar-a-Lago, all while Trump and his family were absent from the house, no less. The televised images screamed “Guilty!” Smith’s self-righteous poses in the media screamed “Guilty!” All the MAGA-haters in the media, similarly self-righteous screamed “Guilty!” Now that Cannon’s tossed the case, Smith — who’s really never met a legal case he couldn’t lose; just look at his record — has hunkered into the shadows.

“The bottom line is this: The Appointments Clause [in the Constitution] is a critical constitutional restriction stemming from the separation of powers, and it gives to Congress a considered role in determining the property of vesting appointment power for inferior officers,” Cannon wrote in her ruling. “The Special Counsel’s position effectively usurps that important legislative authority, transferring it to a Head of Department, and in the process threatening the structural liberty inherent in the separation of powers.”

The judge also didn’t deal kindly with Smith’s claim of “permanent indefinite appropriation” — meaning, his use of all the tax dollars he could tap.

Buh-bye.

“As we move forward in uniting our nation after the horrific events on Saturday,” Trump wrote on social media, “this dismissal of the lawless indictment in Florida should be just the first step, followed quickly by the dismissal of ALL the witch hunts — the January 6th hoax in Washington, D.C., the Manhattan D.A.’s Zombie case, the New York A.G. Scam, Fake Claims about a woman I never met (a decades old photo in a line with her then husband does not count), and the Georgia ‘Perfect’ phone call charges.”

Yes.

Time to move on and move ahead and realize all these judicial actions were simply the ploys of desperate Democrats to keep Trump from running — to keep Trump from winning — to keep Trump from undoing the last three-plus years of Joe Biden’s feckless, puppet presidency.

“The Democrat Justice Department coordinated ALL of these political attacks, which are an election interference conspiracy against Joe Biden’s political opponent, ME,” Trump wrote.

Another day.

Another Trump win.

Another resurrection from the darkness of Democrats’ hearts.

Democrats may have envisioned Trump behind bars before November. But he’s about to be named the official Republican Party candidate for president, 2024.

Another evil plot vanquished.
