Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson has discussed if it’s time to suspend her campaign, but hasn’t decided anything yet.
“Tonight I was speaking with volunteers about whether or not to continue my campaign, and unfortunately the link was shared,” Ms. Williamson wrote in an X post Thursday. “I have NOT said I am suspending the campaign; have simply shared the questions involved, which any candidacy would be dealing with.”
She added, “I was candid about discussing the challenges that a grassroots campaign faces at such a moment as this. Believe nothing until you’ve heard it from me.”
In Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary, the author received 4% support. President Biden as a write-in candidate grabbed 64% of the vote, ahead of Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips’ nearly 20%.
In RealClearPolitics averages of national polls, Ms. Williamson sees 6.5% support, with Mr. Phillips at 3.5%. Mr. Biden continues to have a large lead with close to 70%.
The Washington Times reached out to Ms. Williamson’s campaign for comment.
