I voted for Donald Trump twice and will vote for him again this year. Like so many other Trump supporters, I like his combativeness and the way he handles the press and responds to the Democrats’ liberal lunacy. I like his first-term policies and the good they did for this country (and hopefully will do again after he is elected as our next president). But his bashing of Kayleigh McEnany really upset me (“Trump rips former press secretary McEnany for advising him on TV,” Web, Jan. 24).

Ms. McEnany was and continues to be an unapologetic, ardent supporter of Trump. She professionally and superbly supported him and his administration everyday she served as press secretary. In her spot-on analysis of the New Hampshire primary results last week, she said Trump must win over independent voters and united the GOP to move forward. In response, Trump bashed her, saying he didn’t need “any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany.”

Bashing party leaders like Ms. McEnany and verbally attacking Nikki Haley and her supporters is not the way to unite the party. A divided GOP will not win in 2024.
