Donald Trump posted on Truth Social a call to arms of sorts for governors around the nation to send the National Guard to protect America’s borders — since President Joe Biden isn’t doing it, dontcha know.

Biden’s open border isn’t just politically problematic. It’s a sign of moral decay.

If the president of the United States can’t uphold the oath of office and protect lawful taxpaying American citizens from an insurgency of his own making, then that president doesn’t deserve to serve as president.

The presidential oath of office is this: “I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Biden’s failing.

He’s actually lying.

He’s not come anywhere near the standard of “to the best of [his] ability” when it comes to securing the borders. He’s done quite the opposite, in fact. In December, CBS wrote: “Migrants have been crossing the U.S.-Mexico border in unprecedented numbers,” and in “just five days last week, Border Patrol processed nearly 50,000 migrants who entered the U.S. illegally, with daily apprehensions surpassing 10,000 thrice, up from the 6,400 average last month.”

Twice, thrice, three times a hero. Truly, Biden is living out the playbook of a president who wanted to destroy America.

Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution states: “The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion …”

Ask Texas how that promise is going. Heck, ask New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who’s already made clear his complaints with his fellow Democrats and the White House leadership, when he said at a town hall gathering in September, in reference to the 110,000 asylum seekers who traveled from the southern border to the North: “Let me tell you something, New Yorkers — never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to — [but] I don’t see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City,” he said, as The New York Times reported.

And all the Democrats went: Pipe down, Mr. Mayor!

That was September.

This is now. Things have gotten even worse.

“Joe Biden’s immigration avalanche is about to bury him,” one headline from The Hill happily stated.

Good. An immoral leader is one who fails to uphold law and order. That’s Joe Biden in a nutshell.

Biden’s so intent on basking in the light of law-breaking governance, in fact, that his team has gone to court to fight against a state that finally took matters into its own hands — Texas — and installed razor wire at spots along the border where thousands, yes, thousands have been pouring illegally into America, only to disappear to parts unknown. It’s a terrorist’s dream come true.

Only a corrupt leader would allow such corruption to go forth.

Trump, who won in 2016 largely on a message of protecting America’s borders — at a time when American citizens were sick and tired of all the breaking news about drunken illegals crashing their cars into citizens, or raping little girls, or stabbing and shooting to death young women and men — yes, that Trump, is at it again. He’s got the winning message. He’s carrying the narrative the law-and-order loving America wants to hear — is starving to hear, in fact. He’s got the ears and, soon, the votes of the American public.

“We encourage all willing states to deploy their guards to Texas to prevent the entry of illegals, and to remove them back across the border,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “All Americans should support the commonsense measures by Texas authorities to protect the safety, security, and sovereignty of Texas, and of the American people.”

Common sense is right.

Those who disagree do so because they don’t care about the safety, security and sovereignty of the American people as much as they care about the plight of illegals — illegals who could be murderers, who could be terrorists, who could be rapists, who knows. That’s immoral.

That’s the open border Democrats.

That’s the puppet Joe Biden.

Thankfully, Republican governors are standing up to the immorality of Biden’s administration and standing strong on the side of Texas, which is ignoring the court’s call to remove its razor wire.

It’s becoming clearer and clearer that the looming elections aren’t just about Republican versus Democrat. They’re about moral versus immoral governance. They’re about right versus wrong; lawful versus unlawful; American versus goodbye, America.

Biden, during his run for the White House, spoke frequently about the battle for the soul of this nation. Well, there is one. And it’s called White House 2024. Time to vanquish the morally decrepit.

May the candidate who actually cares about America’s borders win. Hint: It ain’t Biden.
