The numbers are in, the tally’s been tallied, the figures have been figured and survey says — it’s official: Joe Biden, in his third year of presidency, is considered almost as bad as Jimmy Carter.

How low can he go. There’s a bumper sticker for Biden’s 2024 campaign.

According to Gallup, Biden’s job approval for the time between January 20, 2023, and January 19, 2024, was 39.8 percent. Compare that to Carter, whose third-year polled favor with the people stood at 37.4 percent, and it’s clear: When it comes to poor leadership, Biden is very nearly tops with the American people.

Donald Trump?

With all the media hatred, with all the deep state attacks, with all the lies and deceptions from the Democrat Party, with all the Trump Derangement Syndrome coursing across America — with all that, Trump in his third year of office had a 42 percent job approval rating with the citizens.

Also from Gallup: The president with the highest approval, at 72.1 percent, during the third term was Dwight Eisenhower. George H.W. Bush followed, with 69.5 percent; John F. Kennedy was next, with 61.8 percent; then Richard Nixon, with 49.6 percent; Bill Clinton, 47.5 percent; Ronald Reagan, 44.9 percent; and finally, Barack Obama, 44.5 percent.

With Biden, though, he’s seeing a trend of lows.

“Biden’s third-year average was lower than both his first-year (48.9 percent) and second-year (41 percent) averages,” Gallup wrote. “Though better than his third-year average, his first- and second-year ratings also ranked as the second lowest for recent presidents, ahead of only Trump in both years.”

The difference is Trump faced an onslaught of negative media and political coverage and pressure.

Biden, even with the love and adoration of the press, can’t seem to stumble his way to higher favor with the people.

Currently, Biden’s job approval, according to Gallup, is 41 percent. Fully 54 percent disapprove of his job performance.

“Since September 2021, after the troubled withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan, Biden’s approval rating has ranged from the high 30s to low 40s,” Gallup wrote.

And this is what Democrats want to run against Trump in 2024? Carter was a one-term president. Any questions? Let’s hope history repeats.
