Conservative commentator Jordan Peterson lost his court fight to bar the College of Psychologists of Ontario from forcing him to take social media training courses.

On Tuesday, the Ontario Court of Appeals rejected the psychologist’s motion to relitigate an earlier decision by the Ontario Divisional Court that ruled against Mr. Peterson.

Mr. Peterson took to X soon after the decision to voice his outrage and said he was not finished fighting.

“It’s capitulate to the petty bureaucrats and the addle-pated woke mob or lose my professional licence,” he wrote, adding, “There is nothing you can take from me that I’m unwilling to lose. So watch out. Seriously. You’ve been warned.”

Mr. Peterson and his attorney, Financial Post columnist and Toronto employment lawyer Howard Levitt, conceded they had no legal road to further litigate the case.

Mr. Peterson continued to lash out at the decision, openly scoffing at Canada’s free speech protection.

“But rest assured, sleeping Canuck sheep: your Charter of Rights is a facade,” he wrote. “And you will be fleeced while you bleat.”

The battle over Mr. Peterson’s psychology credentials began last year, when the College of Psychologists of Toronto told him to take social media sensitivity courses. The college issued the order after concerns were raised about Mr. Peterson’s social media posts.

Mr. Peterson has often made edgy posts. Once, he suggested that an X user should commit suicide. He also insulted a Sports Illustrated cover model due to her weight.
