America, listen up: Tianqiao Chen, a 51-year-old who’s been a longtime member of the Chinese Communist Party, is now listed in The Land Report as one of the largest foreign owners of agricultural properties in America.

Communists in charge of America’s food chain — hmm. What could possibly go wrong there?

“Communist China is purchasing U.S. agricultural land to subvert our sovereignty, undermine our agriculture industry, encroach on our military installations and upend America’s rural communities,” said Rep. Elise Stefanik, New York Republican, to the New York Post.

True. But don’t forget corrupt the minds of our emerging leaders by selling the pro-communist, anti-capitalist rot in Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms on college campuses and in U.S. public schools around the nation — don’t forget that.

“Exclusive: Second-Largest Foreign Owner of US Land Is A Chinese Communist Party Member,” the Daily Caller wrote in a recent headline.

“Tianqiao,” the Daily Caller continued, “the founder, chairman and CEO of global investment firm Shanda Group, owns approximately 200,000 acres of land in Oregon, according to The Land Report. Chen also has extensive ties to the Chinese government, ranging from CCP membership to executive roles in CCP-affiliated organizations.”

And he’s been buying up American farmland — as well as cushy city properties, including the Vanderbilt Mansion in Manhattan — for years, secretly in some instances, through various investment groups and LLCs.

From The Land Report: “Chen has been staring us straight in the face for almost a decade. In 2015, he acquired nearly 200,000 acres of former Crown Pacific timberlands in Oregon from Fidelity National Financial Ventures for $85 million. Chen did so via the investment vehicle Whitefish Cascade Forest Resources LLC. In December 2023, Oregon tax records revealed that the 198,000 acres block is currently owned by Shanda Asset Management LLC. The Shanda name has long been associated with Chen.”

It’s interesting that the famously pro-China, CCP-fawning Bill Gates has been buying up America’s farmland, as well.

In fact, Gates is the largest private landowner in the United States, amassing nearly 270,000 acres in a dozen or so states.

Why worry?

Only this: Gates is committed to a climate change agenda that includes the development of alternative food sources that are not so much naturally grown as lab-created. He wants lab-grown meat to replace cows and chickens; he’s supported via his Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation the funding of companies dedicated to developing insect-based food.

He works with China on some of these endeavors. He funds the communist country’s research into others. Among the recipients of his foundation’s financial grants in recent months are the Chinese National Health Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and several universities in the country that help advance the CCP’s military.

A communist from China is one of America’s largest agricultural land owners.

A shill for the communists of China, Bill Gates, is one of America’s largest agricultural land owners.

And all along the way, Americans are told nothing to worry about — no reason to be concerned?

Whenever government messes with the food chain, there’s cause for worry.

The CCP wouldn’t let an American buy up significant portions of China’s farmlands — or sell a pro-America, anti-communism agenda in that nation’s school systems. America shouldn’t, either. It’s not just common sense. It’s national security.
