Hunter Biden’s daughter, Naomi Biden, has jumped to her father’s defense after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said he “fled” the scene of the House hearing he attended Wednesday.

The president’s son sat in the hearing Wednesday while a panel considered a vote to hold him in contempt of Congress for not attending the closed-door testimony that was scheduled last month about his father’s involvement in his foreign business dealings.

In a post that featured clips of the hearing, the Georgia Republican wrote, “WOW - Hunter Biden fled the scene when I started exposing the truth behind the Biden Crime Family. Too bad his daddy can’t save him this time. We have mountains of evidence of Biden family corruption and foreign influence peddling and there will be accountability for these crimes.”

In response to the post, Naomi Biden wrote, “Actually, it appears everyone fled the scene when she started lying.”

Hunter Biden was set to appear last Dec. 13 for a deposition in front of the House Oversight Committee, but he opted instead for a brief news conference on the lawn of the Capitol.

The hearing Wednesday turned heated after Hunter Biden arrived.

Rep. Nancy Mace, South Carolina Republican, said he “should be hauled off to jail right now for defying Congress,” and called his appearance a “political stunt.”

Chairman James Comer, Kentucky Republican, said he broke the law by denying two congressional subpoenas to give testimony.

“We will not provide special treatment to Hunter Biden because of his last name. All Americans must be treated equally under the law, including the Bidens,” he said.
