The year was 1979 when the religious zealots in Iran took over. They took a country that at that time had the best universities, the best hospitals, the best of everything, and they threw themselves back into the Stone Age. And for the past 45 years, Iran has done everything in its power to be a thorn in the side of the United States, including the recent killing of American servicemembers.
