The Super Bowl isn’t just about football, it’s also a haven for bettors eyeing both conventional wagers and an array of odd propositions.

The length of the national anthem and the winning coach’s Gatorade shower color are now mainstream bets, but those willing to dig deeper into some sportsbooks might uncover even stranger stakes.

Online betting platforms present a diverse array of Super Bowl prop bets, echoing similar odds across various sites.

It is worth noting that many offbeat propositions typically originate from offshore sportsbooks, which lack the stringent regulations of their North American and U.K. counterparts, so bettors beware.

A post-game proposal: Yes +210; no -190

Bookmakers are entertaining bets on post-game personal milestones, including marriage proposals on the field. Speculations are particularly ripe around high-profile couples such as Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

The “doink bet”: Yes +400; No -700

Named for the familiar sound of footballs hitting metal uprights, the “doink bet” is in play this year, drawing on history like Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s past Super Bowl miss. As players return under the heightened pressure of the game, bettors speculate on whether the uprights or crossbar could once again disrupt a kick.

The infamous “Drake Curse”: Chiefs -170; 49ers +130

The charismatic singer Drake has made his way into the betting sphere, tied to the so-called “Drake Curse” — a superstition suggesting teams he supports may be jinxed. As a known supporter of successful teams, the odds favor his endorsement of the Chiefs at -170 over the 49ers at +130. Historical images of Drake donning a 49ers jacket signal the potential for value in betting.

Forgotten word in national anthem: Yes +900; No -3000

Country music legend Reba McEntire is set to sing the national anthem and there is a bet whether she will forget a word to the “Star Spangled Banner.” Bettors can also wager on whether she’ll go longer than 90 seconds - no singer has ever performed the song in less than a minute and a half.

The rare scoragami outcome: Yes +2500; No -10000

A term coined by Jon Bois, “scoragami” describes the occurrence of a unique final-game score in NFL history. This rare event’s most-recent instance was in Super Bowl XLVIII, 10 years ago. Despite its low likelihood, enthusiasts continue to place bets, nostalgically recalling the Seattle Seahawks momentous 43-8 victory over the Denver Broncos.

Concessions sold at Allegiant Stadium: Over/under 120,000 beers and 17,000 hot dogs

You can even bet on food. Odds right now are set at -175 for 120,000 beers or less and -130 for more than 120,000 beers sold. For hot dogs sold, odds are -225 for 17,000 or less and +185 for more than 17,000.

Midgame ejections: Yes +700; No -1600

Super Bowl XLIX witnessed the sole ejection in the game’s history when Bruce Irvin of the Seattle Seahawks threw a punch during the final seconds. While the chances remain slim, precedent fuels speculations, especially with the rematching Chiefs and 49ers potentially harboring unresolved tensions.

NFL commissioner’s screen appearances: Over/under 1.5

Roger Goodell, albeit a less-beloved figure than Taylor Swift, may also find himself subject to screen-time bets. With the expectation of others, such as Swift, hogging the limelight, Goodell’s odds stand, with “under 1.5 times shown” a tempting choice for some bettors.
