Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie maintained his stance that he will not vote for former President Donald Trump if he is the Republican nominee.

“We have two awful choices here, in my view,” the former GOP candidate said on “The View” Thursday. “The only thing I will commit to is, I’m not voting for Trump under any circumstances.”

When pressed on whether he would vote for President Biden in a likely rematch between him and Mr. Trump, Mr. Christie said repeatedly that he couldn’t make a decision because he doesn’t know who all the choices will be. He mentioned the chance of a third-party candidate.

He said he still believes that Mr. Trump will lose the general election if it is between him and Mr. Biden.

Mr. Christie has been Mr. Trump’s harshest critic during the campaign season. He has not endorsed anyone, and was caught on a hot mic last month saying that GOP candidate Nikki Haley — who is the only one left in the race with Mr. Trump — was “gonna get smoked” and was “not up to this.”

When asked earlier this week if he would be open to running as a third-party candidate on a No Labels ticket, he didn’t rule out the suggestion. No Labels, a political organization, has been pushing to get a third-party candidate on state ballots.

“Oh, I don’t know. There’d be a long conversation between me and [my wife] Mary Pat, I can guarantee you that,” he said on “Good Morning America.”

He said No Labels has not approached him yet. But NBC News reported last month that the group has spoken to allies of Mr. Christie to gauge his interest.
