America may be suffering some dark times under this current Democrat administration, but all is not lost — if Americans choose wisely.
So says Todd Starnes, author of the new “Twilight’s Last Gleaming: Can America Be Saved?”
If America is to take the path of liberty, not tyranny, then the time to return to God is now. It’s impossible, Starnes says, to have a nation grounded in liberty if the people of the nation aren’t also grounded in biblical values and principles.
It’s when the ungodly dominate that government is most needed to control the chaos that comes, and that’s how America has taken this dark turn toward tyranny — citizens have turned from God and opened the door for big, bigger, biggest government.
The only way out of this mess, Starnes says, is to put God back in His position of societal and individual authority, so that government falls into its role of humble servant to the people.
