VILLANOVA, Pa. — Eric Dixon’s 22 points helped Villanova defeat Georgetown 75-47 on Tuesday night.

Dixon made a trio of 3-pointers, shot 7-of-11 overall and added six rebounds for the Wildcats (16-12, 9-8 Big East Conference). Justin Moore scored 14 points, going 5 of 11 (4 for 8 from 3-point range). Mark Armstrong was 4-of-5 shooting (3 for 4 from 3-point range) to finish with 12 points, while adding six assists. Hakim Hart added 11 points and Tyler Burton 10.

Villanova shot 53% and made 13 of 27 from the arc.

Dontrez Styles led the way for the Hoyas (9-19, 2-15) with 16 points and seven rebounds. Rowan Brumbaugh added nine points for Georgetown. Jay Heath also had nine points.

Villanova led 43-19 at halftime, led by Moore with 14 points and Dixon with 11.
