President Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken condemned Hamas’ murderous Oct. 7 attacks on Israel — and then, instead of seeking support to help Israel defeat the terrorists, they questioned Israel’s response.

Mr. Blinken spoke at the United Nations and to Arab countries, pushing for a cease-fire, humanitarian aid and a “two-state solution.” Hamas, Hezbollah and the Iran-backed Houthis continue to carry out their terrorist attacks, including attacks on U.S. bases, where they have killed our military personnel. Hamas uses civilians as human shields and has operations centers in hospitals and private residences. Collateral killing of civilians is the fault of Iran and its proxies, who want to kill all Israelis and destroy Israel.

Palestinian youth have been indoctrinated to hate and kill Jews. It is hard to believe that, if ruled by the Gaza Strip, a new nation known as Palestine would be anything more than a terrorist ministate. Are Mr. Biden and Mr. Blinken simply naive? No. They want to control Israel’s response and have their desired two-state solution at the expense of Israeli lives.
