President Biden wasted no time after the Super Bowl to make a joke about conspiracy theories that the game would be rigged for the Kansas City Chiefs to win to benefit the president.

Shortly after the game ended, Mr. Biden’s X page showed a picture of the “Dark Brandon” meme that depicts the president with lasers shooting out of his eyes.

“Just like we drew it up,” the post said.

Before the game, conservative Republicans were floating conspiracy theories tied to Taylor Swift, whose boyfriend Travis Kelce is the Chiefs’ tight end. Some Biden opponents feared that the game would be rigged for the Chiefs to win, so Ms. Swift would have a high-profile platform to endorse Mr. Biden.

The Chiefs won the game Sunday night 25- 22 in overtime, but there was no endorsement for Mr. Biden.

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough joked about the X post Monday.

“This is of course mocking all the MAGA, ultra-MAGA freaks that were saying that this was all rigged from the very beginning and then this is [Mr. Biden] mocking the snowflakes,” Mr. Scarborough said on “Morning Joe.”
