Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked Thursday evening if President Biden loved America and she replied — apparently not.
In an appearance on Fox News Channel discussing the crisis at the southern border, Mrs. Sanders was asked by host Jesse Watters: “Do you think Joe Biden loves this country?”
After a lengthy pause, she expressed nothing but skepticism.
“If he did, he certainly wouldn’t be trying to destroy it second by second, minute by minute. hour by hour. But that’s exactly what he’s doing,” she said.
Mrs. Sanders went into a litany of Biden failures in her eyes on the economy, border security and preserving America’s foreign standing.
“Literally every single thing he does is [aimed] at the destruction and demise of the people of this country,” she said.
A press secretary during former President Trump’s time in the White House, Mrs. Sanders said of Mr. Biden that it was “disgraceful and disqualifying for him to be president of the United States if he cannot do the simple job of protecting our border.”
