A new ad from President Biden’s reelection campaign paints former President Donald Trump as confused and incoherent.

The minutelong advertisement posted on the Biden-Harris HQ X page and Truth Social features clips of the former president stumbling over sentences and mixing people up.

“Have you noticed he’s a little confused these days?” Mr. Biden asks in the clip from speech footage.

The ad ends with reports saying that Mr. Trump is “rattled” by the president’s efforts to “get under his skin.”

A person close to Mr. Trump told CNN last week that Mr. Biden’s taunts and teasing are affecting the former president.

“I do think he’s trying to get under his skin, and I think it’s the smartest thing the Biden campaign has done yet,” the person told the outlet. “It rattles him and takes him off message.”

Mr. Trump and others have repeatedly ridiculed Mr. Biden’s speech fumbles. The president’s new ad aims to highlight that Mr. Trump is not much different.

Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden remain front-runners for their parties’ nominations, probably setting up a repeat of the 2020 election.
