President-elect Donald Trump smelled a business opportunity when the cameras caught first lady Jill Biden smiling at him during the grand reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

Mr. Trump posted a version of the photo on Truth Social with his brand of colognes and perfumes and the tagline: “A fragrance your enemies can’t resist!”

Mrs. Biden was on hand to represent the Biden administration as France celebrated a major restoration project following a 2019 fire that partially destroyed the cathedral.

French President Emmanuel Macron invited Mr. Trump to come — a bit of a diplomatic coup for the major European leader who will want to start on the right foot with the unpredictable president-elect.

Commentators enjoyed the photograph of Mrs. Biden glancing at Mr. Trump with a smile, saying she might have voted for the Republican after Democrats nudged her husband aside in favor of Vice President Kamala Harris in midsummer.

Mr. Trump just saw dollar signs.

“Here are my new Trump Perfumes & Colognes! I call them Fight, Fight, Fight, because they represent us WINNING,” he wrote alongside the makeshift ad. “Great Christmas gifts for the family.”
