A trip from a Pennsylvania McDonald’s led to the arrest of a suspect in the killing of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO, and the internet wasn’t lovin’ it.

McDonald’s restaurants in Altoona, Pennsylvania, are getting pounded with one-star reviews and derisive remarks on Yelp, Google and other public-review sites in the wake of the arrest of Luigi Mangione in last week’s shooting death of Brian Thompson.

“More like Narc-donalds…. I hope obesity and heart disease are in-network in PA. Deny, defend, depose, diarrhea @ McDonald’s,” one user at Google wrote, according to a compilation of reactions at Latin Times.

“Deny, defend, depose” is a popular online formulation accusing health-insurance companies of murdering people by blocking access to health care. The man who killed Mr. Thompson scrawled it on the bullets he fired into him.

Common themes in the derision were “rats,” health care and treason.

“This location has rats in the kitchen that will make you sick and your insurance isn’t going to cover it,” Jordan A. said in his review.

Carl Reagle wrote in a Google review of one Altoona McDonald’s that he “heard the place is rat infested and that the owner doesn’t care about the health of his employees.”

According to Latin Times, all three McDonald’s in Altoona were getting criticized and there was also backlash against the iconic chain’s restaurants in Altoona, Iowa.

“Service was terrible, rats everywhere,” one Google user wrote while another posted a photo of a rat inside the red box of a large order of fries at McDonald’s.

Latin Times noted that one person wrote that “the staff accused me of assassinating a CEO. Incredibly unprofessional and class-traitor staff.”
