Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti joined Court Watch host Alex Swoyer to react to the Supreme Court hearing U.S. v. Skrmetti, where the justices are weighing Tennessee’s law that bans medical treatment for youth suffering from gender dysphoria and looking to transition. The state law bans puberty blockers, hormone therapy and surgery. The Biden administration and the American Civil Liberties Union challenged the ban, arguing Tennessee’s restriction treats men and women differently because a boy who wants testosterone can get it, but a girl who wants it cannot.
