Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown is expected to miss “several weeks” with an internal injury suffered during the team’s Week 13 win against the Tennessee Titans, coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday.
The coach didn’t specify the nature or extent of the injury, but noted that Brown could miss the remainder of the season.
Brown, who joined the team as a free agent signing after training camp, has recorded 35 catches for 453 yards on the season. His lone touchdown, a last-second Hail Mary against the Chicago Bears in Week 8, earned him a spot in the Washington football history books.
With Brown sidelined, wide receivers Olamide Zaccheaus and Luke McCaffrey will likely see more playing time opposite Terry McLaurin.
“We have a pretty deep crew there,” Quinn said. “That helps where guys can play in different spots.”
