Vice President Kamala Harris has wisely been kept quiet, with no interviews, media or GOP questions answered, for more than two weeks following the cagey Democrats handing her a nomination she didn’t earn. Her handlers have filled the space with lots of music, rallies, celebrity endorsement and media gaslighting about what a wonderful president she’s going to make.

That Ms. Harris finally picked a running mate who is as left-wing as she is at least tells us her intentions should our voters hand her the office. She’s said she gets along well with Tim Walz; I suppose this is because they have a common history of helping to ruin states, she in California, he in Minnesota.

Republicans are saying the fact that Ms. Harris is now outpolling former President Donald Trump is meaningless. They say it’s just a “honeymoon” period that will soon be turned around when Ms. Harris is exposed to the public and they find out who and what she really is. But if the Democrats and their lapdog media manage to keep that exposure minimal, combined with the gaslighting campaign they have turned up to the max, low-information voters may give us all a nasty surprise. A terrible disaster may be in the making.
