The Democratic National Committee is trying desperately to rebrand Kamala Harris in an attempt to trick voters into forgetting the woman’s many failures.

The level of deception runs so deep that it includes donors, social media, pundits, influencers and entertainers. A quote from the French poet Charles Baudelaire comes to mind: “The greatest trick the devil pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.”

After three years of zero recognition for her “work,” Ms. Harris is now dumping huge volumes of propaganda on the public, claiming numerous supposed successes as vice president. Journalists are taught to remain independent and objective in their reporting, but we have media outlets everywhere arrogantly expressing their support of Ms. Harris, and we have government leaders trying to convince voters to fall for the Democrats’ tricks. History is repeating itself.

The recent race-baiting of former President Donald Trump at the National Association of Black Journalists convention was designed to elicit a hostile response, and this, too, is a leftist trick. Using overtly sexual images such as ones of Megan Thee Stallion and her performance at a “Hotties for Harris” performance is evidence of the level to which the DNC and Ms. Harris are willing to stoop.

The campaign is also reportedly paying “social media influencers” $20,000 each to attend the upcoming Democratic National Convention. Talk about desperate.

I’m relieved that I never accepted the invitation to join the NABJ, as I would have been a direct target of the attempt to convince us Ms. Harris is suddenly qualified to be president. Unfortunately, for the next 90 days, we will be bombarded with high-volume tricks like this to deceive voters into going along with the crowd. This is exactly what Baudelaire was referring to, and in his time many of the gullible suffered.
