‘What God wanted me to do in the first place’: Cheryl Chumley publishes first fiction novel

For 30 years, Cheryl Chumley has been a journalist. But her passion for writing started with fiction when she was a child. She said it was a conversation with another Christian about trauma, poor decisions and second chances that inspired her first fiction novel “Chloe: Book One of Chloe’s People: A Novel.” Mrs. Chumley joins The Washington Times’ Higher Ground’s Billy Hallowell to discuss the book, her take on the recent Democratic National Convention and more.
