Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he will be helping pick Donald Trump’s administration in the event he wins the presidential election.

In an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, the former independent presidential candidate said he has been asked to be on the Trump transition team.

According to Axios, Mr. Kennedy said he will be helping “pick the people who will be running the government” during a second Trump term and is “looking forward to that.”

The former Democrat also told Mr. Carlson that he wants the job and will “work to get Trump elected.”

Mr. Trump already has announced some of the names of the people on his transition team, including donors Linda McMahon and Howard Lutnick as co-chairs and elder sons Don Jr. and Eric as honorary chairs.
