CHICAGO — Superstar Beyoncé might be making a dramatic appearance for the final night of the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, according to reports.
There has been speculation all week that either pop star Taylor Swift or Beyoncé would be showing up to give their support to Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee. TMZ reported Thursday that Queen Bey will be the surprise performer on the United Center stage on the night that Ms. Harris will accept the nomination.
Although she has not previously endorsed Ms. Harris for president, she had given the campaign permission to use her song “Freedom” in campaign videos, which has been heard throughout the week.
