Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is trying to fill in the gaps for voters looking for more policy from Vice President Kamala Harris.
As part of its effort to define Ms. Harris negatively, the Trump campaign has rolled out a website spelling out what they see as the “radical” Harris vision for the nation if she gets a crack at The White House.
The Kamala2024Policies.com website warns she plans to: “Set Murderers free,” embrace higher taxes to “Ensure the Middle-Class Pays Their ‘Fair Share,’” “Abolish borders,” eliminate private health insurance, and allow illegal immigrants to cash on entitlement programs.
“Kamala Harris has yet to tell voters what her policies are, so we thought we’d help them out. Kamala Harris wants to open the borders, raise taxes, and free criminals,” said Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt.
Ms. Harris is criticized for keeping most of her policy plans under wraps. Her official campaign website features parts of her personal and political biography but does not shed light on her executive and legislative plans.
The Trump campaign insists she knows the more Americans get to know about her agenda, the less likely they will be to support her.
“Kamala Harris’ dangerous policies are nothing to laugh about,” it reads on the website, which includes snapshots of the California Democrat laughing.
“She wants to abolish our borders, let criminals control our streets, surrender our communities to cartels and a plague of fentanyl, wage war on American energy, and destroy the American Dream,” it says.
