You’re never too old to be an Olympian, according to American archer Justin Huish. The two-time gold medalist said this weekend he would help rapper and producer Dr. Dre compete as an archer in the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

The 59-year-old Dr. Dre — née Andre Young — raised eyebrows last week when he said was he was serious about training for the Olympics.

“Wouldn’t that be interesting to go? Especially with it being here in L.A., and win a gold medal,” Young told Entertainment Tonight. “’I feel like I can do anything.’

Huish heard about the former NWA member’s Olympic dreams and offered to assist.

“If you’re really serious about this, hit me up,” he told Young via TMZ. “’We’ll make it happen.”

Though younger archers earn most Olympic medals, older competitors often make their mark at the Games. American Butch Johnson competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics at the age of 52.

“Anyone can do it at any age. There’s not really an age limit,” Huish, 49, said. “You can be a phenom and you don’t really know.”
