OPINION:
Arizona’s primaries were a historic win propelled by President Trump and his America First movement. Despite the nastiness and the powerful forces we had to overcome, the strength of the Trump endorsement prevailed. Our campaign was underestimated because Washington underestimated the American people. President Trump’s movement is the most powerful political force because it empowers the forgotten men and women across the country who feel neglected by their government. And they are right.
As the son of Syrian immigrants who came to this country in the late ’80s seeking the American dream, I have experienced firsthand the challenges that many Americans face every day. My family struggled to make ends meet, often relying on food stamps to get by. These are hardships many face today, compounded by Washington’s weak and inept leadership.
Despite these struggles, my family persevered and succeeded as small business owners, living out their American dream. Sadly, over the last two decades, many Americans have become disillusioned with the current system and have been searching for an outsider who makes them believe in America again. They found that in President Trump and his America First movement, a movement that transcends race, ethnicity, and religion despite media attempts to brand it as bigoted.
Arizonans proved that someone from my background could win. President Trump knew I could win, and he knew his movement sought courageous fighters to stand with him, so he endorsed my campaign in December. The America First movement embraces ideals and values that appeal to all Americans and a fundamental belief that the system has enriched the few at the expense of the many. It recognizes that our strength lies not in our differences but our shared commitment to the principles that have made America a beacon of hope and freedom worldwide.
In contrast, Kamala Harris and the Democratic regime focus on superficial aspects of identity to create division, ignoring pressing concerns like economic opportunity, education, and public safety. This tactic undermines our nation’s unity and fails to provide tangible solutions that inspire Americans to achieve the American dream.
The American people want a government that prioritizes securing our borders, protecting American jobs, preserving Social Security, and restoring integrity to our elections. The America First movement resonates with all Americans because it speaks to our deepest aspirations and values. It promises opportunity, security, and prosperity for everyone, regardless of their background. I have never felt more at home than among other MAGA patriots.
One of the key pillars of the America First movement is economic revitalization. Our policies focus on reducing regulatory burdens, fostering a business-friendly environment, and ensuring that American companies can compete globally. Under President Trump’s leadership, we saw unprecedented growth in the stock market, low unemployment rates, and a resurgence in manufacturing jobs. These are not just statistics; they represent real opportunities for millions of Americans to achieve financial stability and success.
Moreover, the America First movement is committed to reforming trade policies that have historically disadvantaged American workers and businesses. We are leveling the playing field, renegotiating trade deals and imposing tariffs on unfair trading partners, and bringing jobs back to the United States. This approach not only boosts our economy but also strengthens our position on the global stage.
In the coming months, we will take our message to every corner of Arizona and beyond. We will reach out to communities that have felt marginalized and forgotten, showing them that their voices matter and that they have a stake in our shared future. We will demonstrate that the America First movement is not just a slogan but the most powerful political movement, changing the system for the better. Trump’s America First movement seeks to not only give people a seat at the table but put them at the head of the table.
Our message is clear: We will not be divided by race, religion, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. We stand united as Americans, committed to the principles of liberty, justice, and equality for all. We understand that our challenges are not insurmountable when we stand together and work towards a common goal.
This victory is just the beginning. Together, we will win in November and take back our country. We will restore the promise of America for future generations and ensure that the values that have made our nation great continue to guide us forward. President Trump upended the corrupt system once before, and he will do it again – for the betterment of all Americans.
