Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is fast, but he is not the fastest man in the world. That title belongs to Noah Lyles, a northern Virginia native who won the Olympic gold medal in the 100-meter sprint in Paris this month.

But Hill says he can take him.

“I would beat Noah Lyles,” the eight-time Pro Bowler said on the “Up & Adams” show this week. “I wouldn’t beat him by a lot, but I would beat Noah Lyles.”

Hill also criticized the track star for his underwhelming performance in the 200-meter event in Paris. Lyles was the heavy favorite entering the race but collapsed after finishing third. The 27-year-old later said that he was feeling sick after testing positive for COVID.

“Then he wants to come out and pretend like he’s sick,” Hill said of Lyles. “I feel like that’s horseradish.”

The NFL star’s trash talk didn’t end there, as the South Alabama product laid out his victory celebration.

“When I beat him, I’m gonna put on a COVID mask,” he said. “Let him know I mean business because I do mean business.”

Hill was an All-American sprinter in high school and continued to compete at Garden City Community College in Kansas. At the 2013 National Junior College Athletic Association championships, the Georgia native ran 100 meters in 9.98 seconds.
