Australia was wrong to vote yes in a May United Nations vote on Palestinian statehood. It was wrong also to push prematurely for a two- state solution and to have earlier reinstated financial aid to the Iranian-funded and -supplied, terrorist-riddled U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East in Gaza.

To Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong I say two things: One, if you and your new wife were to honeymoon anywhere in Gaza or the West Bank, you would be literally torn to shreds for being gay. Second, if UNRWA is as clean as a whistle regarding any Hamas association, pigs can fly.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who has refused to visit liberal democracy in the wake of the Oct. 7, 2023 terrorist attacks in which more than 1,200 Israelis were brutally murdered, is just as disgraceful as Wong.

After all, I doubt very much that Wong would want her wife (the mother of Wong’s two daughters) to be sexually violated, as so many Israeli and Jewish wives, mothers, sisters and daughters were by Hamas’ barbaric excuses for men.

Israel — unlike the Palestinian territories, where gays live in great peril — is the most LGBTQ-accepting Middle Eastern country by far, hosting the only pride parade in the region. Penny Wong and Anthony Albanese, have not only betrayed Israel’s women, but also gay communities worldwide.
