Former President Donald Trump on Thursday said he wants to debate President Biden but that the Democrat better take a drug test first.
Mr. Trump touched on reports from last year about cocaine discovered at the White House, then said Mr. Biden appeared to be “all jacked up” in his State of the Union address.
“I want to debate and I think debates, with him, at least, should be drug tested,” Mr. Trump said on radio’s Hugh Hewitt Show.
Asked whether he was suggesting Mr. Biden was using cocaine, Mr. Trump said he doesn’t “know what he’s using,” but the president “was higher than a kite” at the speech last month to a joint session of Congress.
“But he’s obviously, he’s being helped some way, because most of the time he looks like he’s falling asleep,” Mr. Trump said. “And all of a sudden, he walked up there and did a poor job. But he was all jacked up.”
