Former President Donald Trump accused President Biden Tuesday of being incompetent on Israel-Arab relations as university protests spiral out of control.

Mr. Trump, speaking in a New York courthouse hallway, tried to put the focus on Mr. Biden and his handling of the pro-Palestinian protests as he faced another day in his hush money criminal trial.

“What’s going on at the college levels … is a disgrace. It’s really on Biden,” Mr. Trump, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, said. “He has the wrong signal, he has the wrong tone.”

He added, “He doesn’t know what to do. He wants to take a middle ground.”

Mr. Biden has tried to walk a fine line as Israel pummels Hamas-controlled Gaza over the Oct. 7 terror raid on southern Israel. He says the U.S. stands with Israel but wants its forces to be more restrained in its assault on Gaza, citing the civilian death toll.

Mr. Trump said Mr. Biden has “abandoned Israel” and is “no friend” to the Jewish state or the Arab world.

“He can’t put together two sentences,” the former president said. “He is the worst president in our country.”
