Pop empress Taylor Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which was released Friday, has already broken streaming records on multiple platforms.

The LP has the most first-day streams for a pop album in Apple Music history and became the most streamed album on Amazon Music in its first week globally in just three days.

On Spotify, “The Tortured Poets Department” became the first album to have 300 million streams in a single day and became the most streamed album in one day for 2024.

The album’s “Fortnight” became the most streamed song in a single day in Spotify history.

Apple Music and Amazon Music didn’t provide exact figures for how much “The Tortured Poets Department” was streamed. As of Monday, there were 490.2 million on-demand official streams of the album, according to Billboard.

The LP has also set marks with 1.4 million digital, vinyl, CD and cassette sales on its first day in Ms. Swift’s best sales week for one of her albums, said Billboard.
