OPINION:
White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates issued a statement against the so-called “pro-Palestinian” student protests that have been churning on America’s college campuses in recent months, calling the most recent displays “blatantly antisemitic” and condemning them “in the strongest terms” as “despicable.”
Well, the Democrat Party ought to know. It’s the Democrat Party that created this madness.
The Democrats are the ones who have spent oh so many years dumbing down this nation’s youth by drumming up the likes of Democratic Socialists of America members to become public school teachers for — as DSA pamphlets argue — “the political, economic and social potential the industry holds.” That’s code for Brainwash Kids To Love Socialism And Hate America.
The Democrats are the ones who push teachers’ unions, not student needs, as the be-all and necessary end-all of public schooling — as if learning can’t take place so long as teachers don’t have reps who demand mo’ money, mo’ money, mo’ money from their political leaders.
The Democrats are the ones who have taken over the places of higher learning in America and corrupted the ability of college classrooms to be places where rational discussions among those of differing opinions take place — where theories are challenged and viewpoints traded and lively debates go forth. Now?
“Democratic professors outnumber Republicans 9 to 1 at top colleges,” as the Washington Examiner found in 2020.
That led to this headline, also in the Washington Examiner, a few years later — from September 2023: “The new Red Scare taking over America’s college campuses.”
All good Marxists know where to effectively fight.
The public school systems and the places of higher learning in America have become breeding grounds to build the next generation of anti-America, anti-capitalist, anti-Israel, anti-freedom leaders.
So here we enter Passover, a Jewish celebration of God’s freeing of His people from bondage, and in America, it’s this: “Columbia rabbi urges Jewish students to stay home until campus deemed safe,” The Times of Israel wrote.
And this: “UC Berkeley’s campus is in turmoil. It’s unlike anything in recent memory,” Politico wrote.
And this: ‘Antisemitism and anarchy’: Rabbi urges Jewish students to leave Columbia for their safety,” USA Today wrote.
What is taking place in America is not a question mark. It’s the natural culmination of years and years of leftist-fueled thoughts that have been tunneled into the minds of America’s youngest and most innocent — the grade-school children — leading into pure indoctrination at the college levels.
It’s the logical progression of a political party that has stood idly by as the Antifa thugs and Black Lives Matter intolerants took over city streets across the nation, shutting down travel, shutting down businesses, shutting out sanity; it’s the next step of leftists’ plan to degrade and destroy family and transform God’s creations into something ungodly — something that says boys can be girls and girls can be boys and pronouns and self-identifiers are meaningless — something that suggests he and she can just as easily be they or them, or whatever. It’s all about creating chaos; it’s all about sowing the seeds of confusion and discord. It’s all about doing everything that can be done to make the American mind unstable, so that the self-declared gods of government can then inject hate and violence and envy and greed and the passions of the haters of the world into the hearts of the feeble-minded.
Welcome to College USA.
The root of this antisemitism and student support for terror grow from the same root of all-things-hateful the Democrats have long supported and pushed.
“While every American has the right to peaceful protest, calls for violence and physical intimidation targeting Jewish students and the Jewish community are blatantly antisemitic, unconscionable and dangerous. They have absolutely no place on any college campus or anywhere in the United States of America,” Bates said. “And echoing the rhetoric of terrorist organizations especially in the wake of the worst massacre committed against the Jewish people since the Holocaust is despicable. We [at the White House] condemn these statements in the strongest terms.”
Great. But it’s a case of too little, too late.
America’s college campuses and the antisemitic rot that has spread far and wide are of the Democrat Party’s own making.
To deal with today’s antisemitism means getting rid of the leftists in charge and purging the education systems of all its Marxist forces, school by school, campus by campus, union by union. And by Marxist, of course, that’s meant Democrat.
