OPINION:
Former President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social on April 19: “We are under political attack from Biden’s D.C. thugs, working closely with the D.A.’s office, in order to help re-elect Crooked Joe Biden, the worst president in history.”
Given all the conflicts of interest, all the expired statutes of limitations, all the double standards and all the legal gymnastics Mr. Trump is enduring, how could this not be a coordinated effort coming from the Biden White House?
What’s not being talked about in this corruption is the motivation behind all these prosecutors, judges and district attorneys who are going after Mr. Trump. Why would they risk their careers and retribution should they fail in their quest to derail his presidential bid?
I believe the answer is that this “coordinated effort” is based on the assurance from the Biden White House that they will be rewarded with a presidential pardon and a presidential endorsement letter personally signed by President Biden.
If you have nothing to lose and everything to gain, why wouldn’t you go all in on harassing the former president — regardless of how rancid it all looks? After all this is over, Fani Willis, Leticia James, Jack Smith, Alvin Bragg, etc., will be seen as “rising stars” in the Democratic Party and very likely be given their own shows on CNN and MSNBC, if not a promotion to a higher public office.
With a “get out of jail free” card in their back pockets, the damage they could do to Trump between now and his potential Jan. 20, 2025, inauguration could be monumentally horrendous.
The circus that we’re witnessing now could be just the beginning. To get to the White House, it looks like Mr. Trump is going to have to march through the scalding fires of hell.
