Colorado coach Deion Sanders says his top players should be selective about their NFL future. The Hall of Famer said two of his stars on the Buffaloes, quarterback Shedeur Sanders and wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, would be willing to play for only six NFL teams if they’re drafted in 2025.

Coach Prime highlighted the five teams he played for — the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens — along with the Philadelphia Eagles.

“There are certain cities that ain’t going to happen. … It’s going to be an Eli [Manning]. We ain’t doing it,” Sanders said on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast.

The San Diego Chargers drafted Manning in the 2004 NFL draft, but the quarterback demanded a trade and landed with the New York Giants.

“There were certain cities that fit. Atlanta fit,” Sanders said. “And I want that for my kids. All of them. I want the right fit.”

Hunter and Shedeur Sanders are top prospects in the 2025 draft class, though the consensus could shift in the next 12 months. Their coach sees them destined among the top four picks.

“Anywhere from one through four,” the elder Sanders said. “One of them is going to be one. … And the latter one will not go behind four.”
