President Biden’s approval rating among voters over the Israel-Hamas war has further eroded as the Middle East conflict drags on, according to a poll released Sunday.

A CBS News/YouGov survey showed that 37% of voters said Mr. Biden should encourage Israel to stop military actions, compared to 31% in February.

The poll was conducted before Iran’s drone and missile attack on Israel over the weekend.

The results showed that should Iran attack, 25% said the U.S. should take military action while 74% said they prefer no action and to back Israel or to not get involved at all.

The survey was conducted April 9-12 among 2,399 U.S. residents and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.6 percentage points.
