Never let it be said Trump Derangement Syndrome has drifted away any since the former president left the White House. It’s alive and well. Quite alive and well.
The latest show of TDS is the leftist quest to remove Trump from ballots so that citizens cannot vote for him in 2024. Seriously, this is taking place in courts right now. And a judge just issued a ruling on this case that basically shuts Team Trump’s mouths from issuing any sort of defensive statement or making any kind of defensive argument in the press.
Talk about turning the Constitution on its head.
In one TDS case, Democrats are actively destroying both the First and Fourteenth amendments. Yay, team DNC.
Truly, it’s not just an attack on Trump. It’s an attack on all Trump supporters. It’s a leftist quest to eradicate all America First influences from American society, government, education and culture.
But seeking to use the 14th Amendment to shut off voters from voting for Trump is a perilous move to make.
“That is an incredibly dangerous idea because it’s going to have — first off, first off — the president hasn’t been found guilty of insurrection … second off, this is the most dangerous idea I’ve heard,” said Mike McKenna, of MWR Strategies, who also worked within the Trump administration. “I’ve been bopping around politics for what, 40 years now? It’s the most dangerous idea I’ve ever heard. It effectively disenfranchises 80 million people.”
And these are people, McKenna added, who are “well armed.” Yikes.
“It is almost as if you are trying to summon political violence,” he warned.
