There was a time in America where Sunday was sacred, most went to church, nearly all believed in God, and the influence of Judeo-Christian values in politics was irrefutable.

That was then. This is now. Today, the evangelical and Christian vote is on the wane.

And nowhere is it waning more than with the younger populations.

As for what drives today’s evangelical voter — it’s interesting that aside from politics and culture, many Christians look to Bible-based prophesies and truths to help select the proper candidates for the modern times.

From Timothy Head, executive director of Faith & Freedom Coalition:  Timothy Head. “You’re seeing a lot of really fascinating developments in Israel and throughout the Middle East that are also very encouraging, believe it or not, for a bunch of these Bible believing Christians. It’s kind of a double-edged sword. I think a lot of people are looking forward to, from a faith perspective, the developments around Israel and the Middle East but also at the same time don’t love some of the immediate status of some of the things happening in America.”
