In the obscurity of a dimly lit grocery store parking lot, 15 years ago, the trajectory of my life was irrevocably changed. At that juncture, I had reached my lowest place, having lost my way, my marriage, and any semblance of purpose.
It was here, in this unassuming location, that a stranger, propelled by what could only be described as a divine calling, approached me with a message that, at the time, seemed improbable. That singular moment served as the first step on an extraordinary journey, one that I could never have imagined.

The man bore an unexpected message, delivered in the depths of my despair. He declared, “The Lord will use you in the realm of filmmaking. I see you creating a movie that will spark a revival.”
At the moment, nothing seemed less likely. I was in the grip of alcoholism and separated from my wife. The stranger’s presentation of this “word from the Lord” did little to ease my skepticism. Nevertheless, at that juncture, I had nothing left to lose, and so I listened.
Upon hearing this improbable prophecy, I promptly shared it with my estranged wife, Julie. Her laughter mirrored my incredulity, for my life bore no resemblance to that of a devout Christian. Little did we anticipate that this seemingly far-fetched prophecy would eventually materialize into an astonishing reality.
Over the ensuing years, a profound transformation unfolded — a journey grounded in surrender and divine restoration.
My fractured marriage found healing, and my wife and I heeded the call to ministry once more. In due course, we birthed V1 Church in the heart of New York City. Our church started with 18 members and within two years was named as one of INJOY Stewardship Solutions’ fastest-growing churches in the nation.
Then, the pandemic came and brought our momentum to a screeching halt as churches in our city were no longer allowed to meet. This season opened doors to online ministry, leading to the creation of viral videos on deliverance and discipleship, which offered hope during a profoundly bleak time in our nation’s history.
In early 2022, I had a vision of a domino falling in Brooklyn, setting off a global chain reaction of revival. This vision eventually took shape as “The Domino Revival,” a series of revival services held in 13 locations worldwide. These locations were thoughtfully selected as they had once served as former wells of revival, such as Brownsville and Los Angeles, now ripe for re-digging. With cameras capturing every divine encounter, it became evident that this story transcended the confines of V1 Church; it was a narrative that encompassed our nation and the world.
The turning point, however, arrived with an unexpected invitation: to partake in the film, “Come Out in Jesus’ Name,” written and produced by Pastor Greg Locke. The film chronicled his journey away from cessationism and presented a case for deliverance. People across the nation flocked to theaters to witness this cinematic event, and it became a catalyst for widespread deliverance.
Following the film’s release, word reached me that some figures within the movie industry were avid followers of my ministry who watched my sermons weekly. I recalled the words of that stranger in the grocery store parking lot and asked my team to reach out to the executives: “If it’s true, tell them we want to make a movie.” Armed with nothing but faith, when my team inquired about the movie’s topic, I boldly declared, “I’m not certain yet, but if they give us the opportunity, we’ll figure it out!”
When questioned about the movie’s concept, I pitched an idea to the movie executives, likening it to “The Avengers: Endgame,” but with revivalists from all walks of life as the heroes. It would be a tale illustrating how God utilizes ordinary individuals to usher in revival — a testament to His preference for the most unlikely vessels. This narrative resonated deeply with me, a man who, as a child raised in poverty by a single mother amidst abusive stepfathers, now leads a national church with a global presence.
The movie executives were captivated by this concept. They offered an additional 30-minute simulcast at the conclusion of the movie, inquiring, “What would you do with those extra 30 minutes?”
With the green light from the movie executives and the prospect of simulcasting the film’s conclusion across America, I unveiled a bold vision for those 30 minutes: an opportunity to pray for freedom from addiction, deliverance from darkness, the canceling of suicides, and the ending of depression and anxiety for every individual in every theater nationwide. The emotions welled up in the room, even among non-Christians, as these issues had left an indelible mark on many lives in recent times.
With the green light in hand, my team and I embarked on crafting the narrative of “The Domino Revival,” utilizing years of footage capturing the inception of our church, revival events, and interviews with renowned revivalists. The movie offers viewers a front-row seat to the spiritual warfare raging across America. It unveils authentic accounts of medically-verifiable miracles, where individuals experience complete healing during revival services.
“The Domino Revival” is not merely a movie; it extends an invitation to partake in deliverance, discipleship, and destiny. It narrates a story of faith and revival emerging from the most unexpected quarters, underscoring that God uses ordinary people for extraordinary purposes. The film’s resounding message leaves audiences with a compelling call to action that will cause a ripple effect extending far beyond the confines of the movie screen.
I hold a fervent belief that as this movie graces theaters across America on October 24th, a cascade of dominos will fall, ushering in a resurgence of revival within our cities, churches, and homes. It is an invitation, a call to witness the remarkable, and a chance to be part of something truly extraordinary. Join us in this movement, and together, let us see revival unleashed across the globe!
