OPINION:
Most Americans now seem ready to embrace communism. They have become soft and expect “mommy government” to take care of them.
They are given awards for participation in sports and told that winning is bad because it hurts the losers’ feelings. If they are too weak to compete as men in sports, Mommy will let them compete as women. Hundreds of thousands now flood into the country not expecting to have to work, but to be supported by tax dollars coming from those who do work, or to stand on street corners with their hands out.
Mommy government will coddle not just Americans but also non-Americans, whom she likes to call “undocumented migrants.” In her form as the National Labor Relations Board, Mommy says that remote workers who refuse to come into their offices cannot be fired for doing so. All they have to do is complain on social media. If they lose their jobs, their employer can be accused of “retaliatory actions.”
Many Americans have already become full-fledged communists, under the guise of the label “liberal progressive.” This is why the flag in my front yard is flown at half-staff permanently: to signify the death of America.
