OPINION:
“Obamacare’s hidden price tag” (web, Oct. 9) is right on. The cost for “affordable health care” is out of control. Why? Because of the poorly written mega law the Democrats forced on us.
Then there are the many negative effects of President Biden’s immigration policy. The financial cost for this open border is huge and rising daily. Terror threats are ever-increasing. Costs for giveaway programs are increasing. Schools are failing to educate, and more people will be added to the government doles.
And who is in bed with the teachers unions and those in charge of policy in leftist-run school systems? The Democrats, of course.
Meanwhile, the Justice Department has ignored House investigators’ attempts to question “federal aid to possible victims of a sex trafficking ring involving President Biden’s son Hunter Biden” (“Justice Department silent on sex trafficking victims linked to Hunter Biden,” web, Oct. 6).
Our taxes pay the salaries of those in DOJ, but the Democrats use the department as their personal puppet agency.
We have an in-power political party and administration that uses our tax dollars to protect themselves, advance their agenda and improve arrangements with wealthy corporations, teachers unions and illegals, who they hope will vote for them.
