An armed homeowner in a Seattle suburb warded off a burglary attempt early Thursday by firing multiple rounds through the door that the thieves were trying to kick down, police said.
Auburn police said the incident took place at about 2 a.m. Thursday when three masked, gun-toting suspects walked onto the victim’s patio and announced themselves as “Seattle Police.”
Home surveillance footage shared by authorities then showed the three suspects kicking and shouldering the door in an attempt to break in.
