OPINION:
Texas is taking the lone star step of adding a border wall between its own state and that of New Mexico’s. Why? So many migrants are using New Mexico as a path to jump through to Texas and then parts unknown that Republican leaders say they have no choice.
This is a crisis of the Democrats’ making.
“Texas installs fencing along New Mexico border. Our barriers around El Paso forced the migrants crossing illegally to enter into New Mexico. They then entered into El Paso from there. To end that, we are building a barrier on the New Mexico border,” wrote Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on X.
This — after headlines like this have rocked national media for months: “Border Patrol reports a 900% spike in Chinese migrants,” NewsNation wrote in March.
“Chinese nationals crossing US border with ‘really disturbing’ intentions, expert warns,” Fox News wrote in June.
“Alleged Chinese migrants seen crossing US-Mexico border in Instagram video,” Y!news wrote in September.
And from NBC News, also this September: “Illegal border crossings are on the rise: 7,500 migrants were stopped Sunday alone.”
Thousands and thousands and more thousands are flooding America’s gates, which are wide open — thanks to Democratic Party leadership in the White House.
Thousands and thousands and more thousands are disappearing into parts unknown of America, for whatever reasons, for whatever unknown reasons — thanks to Democratic Party leadership in the White House.
And Americans are facing a host of dangers from these unknown factors.
In May, U.S. Border Patrol agents recorded more than 200,000 encounters. That’s one month. That’s what’s known.
It’s the ones who went unrecorded who present even greater dangers to America’s security.
“There are certain Chinese coming in that are really disturbing,” said Gatestone Institute senior fellow Gordon Chang on a recent Fox Business interview. “Packs of Chinese males of military age, unattached to family groups pretending not to speak English. These are probably saboteurs who are coming in on the first day of war with Asia.”
For what purpose?
The world is sparking into fire in Israel; war against terrorists is waging; Iran’s busily behind scenes fostering dissent — funding terror; Russia’s doing what Russia does, which is to say exploiting the situation so as to paint Vladimir Putin, the former KGBer, don’t forget, in the best possible ‘I’m here to help’ light; and President Biden has flown to the Jewish state to do what he does best — which is to say bumble and stumble and make a mess of things.
And America’s borders are porous.
Anybody see the danger here?
A weak America sets the world on fire. A distracted America forgets its own security, And under this administration, under this president, America is facing both situations.
This is entirely the fault of Democrats.
