A man was struck by an arrow fired from a crossbow in Bailey’s Crossroads last weekend, Fairfax County police said Tuesday.
Authorities said the man was walking along the 3400 block of Carlin Springs Road just after midnight Sunday when an arrow pierced his backpack and went into the victim’s back.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was released shortly afterward.
Police said they think the arrow came from a crossbow.
