Actor Jamie Foxx used Instagram to break his silence Wednesday after he was hospitalized for an undisclosed medical condition last month.

The 55-year-old’s post on Instagram simply said, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.”

A veritable who’s who of entertainment stars showed love to Mr. Foxx in the post’s comment section, including Kenan Thompson of “Saturday Night Live,” rapper Ludacris and actor Jeremy Renner, who spent weeks in the hospital this year after a snow plow accident.

Mr. Foxx entered the hospital April 11 in Atlanta, as first reported by NBC News. The Oscar-winning actor remains hospitalized.

“His condition was serious enough that Jamie’s family, some of whom were not in town, came to the hospital,” a representative for the actor said at the time.

Mr. Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, said in an Instagram post at the time that “due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”

The actor, who hosts the game show “Beat Shazam” on Fox, will be temporarily replaced by Nick Cannon for its upcoming season.
