OPINION:
Hershey decided as part of its “International Women’s Day” campaign in Canada to celebrate men who pretend to be women.
To paraphrase from singer Helen Reddy: I am woman — hear me boycott Hershey.
There seems to be power in the message that phrase conveys, as well. It wasn’t long after Hershey went woke on women that #BoycottHersheys began to trend on Twitter.
Can’t the people even enjoy a bar of chocolate without having the psychologically deranged transgender movement shoved down their throats?
This is what Hershey did: The company debuted an ad for its “Her for She” Canada campaign that featured trans Fae Johnstone, who’s a biological man but fakes at being a woman. The ad was aimed at promoting Hershey’s new wrapper featuring females and finished with Johnstone posing and laughing alongside several real women.
“See the women changing how we see the future at Hershey’s Canada,” Johnstone said, by way of inviting the audience to visit Hershey Canada’s International Women’s Day website section.
This is what Hershey said: “We value togetherness and recognize the strength created by diversity. Over the past three years, our Women’s History Month programming has been an inclusive celebration of women and their impact.”
This is what Hershey is promoting: the normalization of psychological disorders.
Hershey’s woke executives are so inclusive of women that they’re even including men. This is where the line between sane and insane is crossed.
Once again, for those in the back of the room — or, in this case, in the back of Hershey’s boardroom — only females can be women. Only little girls can grow into adult women. Only women are women.
It doesn’t seem that difficult a concept to grasp. References abound for the forgetful.
“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them,” Genesis 1:27 states.
Another?
“Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man,” Genesis 2:22 states.
Another?
“He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them Man in the day when they were created,” Genesis 5:2 states.
Then there’s that whole X chromosome versus Y chromosome thing — basic stuff, really. Females have two X chromosomes. Males have one X and one Y chromosome.
Then came the LGBTQ activist crowd. Then came the purposeful leftist tear-down of traditional family units and norms. Then came the strategic Democrat-fueled campaign to push a deceptive narrative about boys and girls and men and women that creates just the type of societal chaos needed for these Marxist-minded to grab power.
Then came the war on God.
And now even our chocolate bars carry the lies and lunacies of the spiritually lost.
The entire transgender movement is based on an evil intent to sexualize youth; to destroy the traditional family unit; to abolish societal restraints on behavior; and to ultimately, elevate deviancy to such acceptance that good is flipped for bad and right is taken as wrong.
No rules; just tyranny.
No social order; simply secular animalistic behavior.
That another of America’s iconic companies is joining this madness is maddening in itself.
Boycotts should be reserved for last-ditch efforts against companies that engage in the worst of the worst behaviors.
Hershey, by pushing the lie of transgenderism, by pushing customers to play into the lie that men can be women simply by wishing upon a star for womanhood, certainly qualifies.
